Description
Monterey Bay Therapy Services is a dynamic, growing private practice seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team. While in-person is preferred, MBTS will consider strong remote/hybrid candidates. MBTS will only consider candidates with availability during late afternoon/evening hours (3pm or later) at this time.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients' physical and mental well-being- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed- Provide education on ADLs and other relevant information to patients and their families on techniques for continued improvement- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication and follow local and state regulations for medical documentation
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and/or- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California- Experience in pediatrics and early intervention, sensory integration, and/or adult and geriatric populations is a plus! Certifications are a plus, too!- Knowledge of physiology, child development, sensory processing and modulation
-Knowledge of case management practices- Strong patient service and care skills
-Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
-Ability to move around a therapeutic pediatric clinic including but not limited to: moving, lifting, carrying, hanging, changing various therapeutic equipment, including swings, mats, toys, etc.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to work in an energetic and expanding clinic atmosphere is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
