About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hand Therapist to join our growing rehabilitation team. This role focuses on the evaluation and treatment of patients with upper extremity, hand, and wrist injuries and conditions. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and passionate about helping patients restore function and improve quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals
- Fabricate and modify custom orthoses/splints
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities as appropriate
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely in the EMR
- Communicate effectively with physicians, case managers, and the rehab team
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Washington State
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in upper extremity/hand therapy
- CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and time management skills
- Experience with workers’ compensation and post-surgical cases preferred
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8am to 5pm, no weekends
- Flexible scheduling available if applicable
